Frequently asked questions

Short answers about the analyzer. Still curious? Run a free analysis and see what it says about your site.

How much does Icepath cost?

Nothing. The Site Analyzer and its PDF report are completely free — no account, no trial clock, no upsell at the end. Icepath is a personal project, not a subscription product.

What does the Site Analyzer check?

Two scorecards. SEO Health covers the technical and on-page basics: title tags, headings, meta descriptions, structured data, content depth and mobile readiness. AI Readiness covers how prepared the site is to be found, read and cited by AI engines — crawler access, llms.txt, entity schema and answer-ready content.

Which AI engines does it check readiness for?

The analyzer reads your robots.txt for the crawlers behind ChatGPT (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User), Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and the Common Crawl data that feeds other models, including Grok's ecosystem. Each report also generates a list of questions you can ask those engines directly to see whether your business comes up.

Do I need an account to analyze my site?

No. The analyzer is public — enter a URL and get the full report. Accounts exist only for the private lab dashboard behind the scenes; visitors never need one.

Is my website data stored?

Reports are generated live, from a fresh fetch of your site each time you run one. Icepath doesn't save, publish or share your results — download the PDF if you want to keep a copy.

Who built Icepath?

Icepath is the personal lab of Travis Goldston, a guy with too many ideas and not enough time to execute them. He does SEO, content, and paid media, and he built it to experiment with AI search hands-on — learning, measuring and tinkering with it on live data.
